On November 1, 2023, the ShanghaiMedical College of Fudan University signed a cooperation agreementwith the Fujita Health University.
Dr. Fan Wu, Vice Dean of FudanUniversity Shanghai Medical College, and Dr. Yukio Yuzawa, Presidentof the Fujita Health University, delivered speeches, brieflyintroducing the long-standing relationship of cooperation between thetwo universities, and expressing their expectations for futureexchanges and collaborations.
Dr. Fan Wu expressed the hope for jointefforts with Fujita Health University, leveraging strengths indisciplines like rehabilitation and surgical robotics, to activelyengage in activities such as student exchange, faculty training, andresearch collaboration.
According to Dr. Yukio Yuzawa, the aimis to collaborate further on research and education in areas such ascancer, infectious diseases, and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Bin Ji from the School of Pharmacy;Dr. Weijie Xing, Associate Professor from the School of Nursing; Dr.Biyun Xia, Chief Nurse of the Geriatrics Department at HuadongHospital, and Chief Nurse of the Special Needs Department, reviewedthe existing collaborations and proposed ideas for future cooperationwith the Fujita Health University in fields such as pharmacy,geriatrics, robot-assisted elderly care, and healthy aging.
