The 
Sino-German Cooperation in Health” is a joint, non-profit academic organization voluntarily established by universities in the People's Republic of China and the Federal Republic of Germany. The Alliance conducts activities with the aim of establishing a long-term, stable, and mutually beneficial international cooperation platform in the field of medical education between China and Germany 

As a governing unit and member of this Alliance, Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University will actively assist the Alliance in carrying out the following missions:

{1} Actively encourage member units of the Alliance to fully utilize and integrate the resources of members of the Alliance and organize various activities such as exchange visits, special training, and joint training for medical students and teachers

{2} Actively promote member units of the Alliance to build joint research platforms, establish joint research teams, and cooperate in scientific research and academic exchanges around the forefront of prevention and treatment of major diseases

{3} Actively promote exchanges and cooperation among member units of the Alliance in jointly addressing major infectious diseases and major public health events that affect human health

{4} Actively promote the exchange and participation among member units of the Alliance in medical policy institutes around challenges such as the acceleration of the global aging trend, high incidence of major diseases, medical insurance, and the construction of national healthcare systems; and 

{5} Actively promote cooperation and exchange between affiliated hospitals of member units of the Alliance in hospital management and medical cooperation
