The School of Public Health of Fudan University and the University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) have established the “BS/MS fast track program” also known as the “4+1+1 Undergraduate and Master Program”. The purpose of this program is to promote international education, cultural exchange, increase number of international collaborations and innovate the current model for undergraduate- master fast track programs.
Students studying preventative medicine at Fudan University are able to apply for the program in the fall semester of their fourth year and on acceptance are able to continue their study the following fall in the University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM). Students who pursue and successfully earn bachelor’s degrees at Fudan in preventive medicine may then pursue a fast-track master’s degree in public health at UHM .
