On January 12, 2022,the Closing Ceremony of the Fudan University Shanghai Medical College-Harvard Medical School T2T project was successfully held online.First, Dr. Li Li, Director of the T2T Program at Harvard Medical School, and Haifeng Gao, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office of Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University, delivered welcome speeches. They congratulated the T2T program on its successful completion in 2022.
Afterward, Dr. Ajay Singh,Senior Associate Dean for Postgraduate Medical Education at Harvard Medical School, and Dr. Fan Wu, Deputy Dean of Shanghai Medical College, addressed the participants of the closing ceremony. They reviewed the history of the project and expressed appreciation for the hard work of the numerous project team members from both sides, calling for further international cooperation and communication with regard to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The last part was the Award Ceremony of the T2T Project, held online as well. Dr. McGrath of Harvard Medical School presented awards to outstanding teams and individuals.
The T2T project was initiated as a Training to Teachers (T2T)Program at the Affiliated Hospital of Fudan University in 2019. So far, the Project has been successfully implemented for three sessions. A total of 139 clinicians have benefited from the training and applied the knowledge they learned in the program to their clinical work.
