“Building Consensus and Planning the Future Together” – Domestic Partners Sub-forum of the Shanghai Medical Forum and Seminar on Expanding the Medical International Network Held

On February 20, 2025, the Domestic Partners Sub-forum of the Shanghai Medical Forum and the Seminar on Expanding the Medical International Network were held in Meeting Room 1829 of the Information Building at Fudan University’s Fenglin Campus. The events brought together participants to explore how to build a medical international cooperation network and develop key nodes amid the evolving global political landscape. Approximately fifty experts and scholars specializing in international cooperation and exchange in the medical field, together with representatives from medical colleges, attended the forum. They came from fourteen prestigious medical schools across nine provinces and municipalities, including Beijing, Zhejiang, Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Guangdong, and Shanghai.



Professor Wu Fan, Vice Dean of Fudan University Shanghai Medical College, delivered a welcome address on behalf of both Fudan University and the Medical College, expressing heartfelt appreciation to the attending experts, scholars, and institutional representatives. She noted that this gathering provided an important opportunity for leading domestic institutions to jointly discuss strategies to address changes in the international landscape, build consensus, exchange best practices through case studies and practical discussions, and envision future cooperation by exploring how to form a globally synergistic framework for medical development.
