CU-UCMH (China-UK University Consortium on Medicine) is a joint, non-profit academic organization voluntarily organized by universities in China and the United Kingdom. It was originally founded on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the UK along with the support of the International Department of the Ministry of Education, Sichuan University and Oxford University.
The purpose of the China-UK University Consortium on Medicine is to increase cooperation and exchange between medical universities in the two countries, establish a mutually beneficial cooperation platform for Chinese and British universities in the field of medical education and personnel training, improve mutual learning and establish closer relationships to allow for greater contributions to be made in order to improve human health and well-being.
